Administration System
Development of an administration system for Nickleby & Co.
In 2008 the system was migrated to ASP.NET Framework 3.5, along with the implementation of a rich user interface using the Telerik suite of AJAX based web controls.

British Council Risk Database
KA Technology was responsible for the design and development of an intranet based database application to provide a readily accessible repository of up to date information on all risks, issues and dependencies.
Database developed using SQL Server 2000. Access to the system provided via a browser based web application constructed using ASP.NET. In order to provide ease of maintenance and deployment, core business logic was provided by a separate C# assembly.
Thank you very much for your excellent work on the RID database. Your professionalism and flexibility has been much appreciated here and we're really impressed with the final product as were programme managers when we gave them a quick demo last Thursday.

Budget Monitor
KA Technology successfully competed in an open tender process to win the contract for design and development of Budget Monitor. The client Nickleby & Co asked us to build a financial reconciliation module within the suite of management control applications that they were assembling for the retailer Somerfield.
The module was engineered using ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server 2000. It incorporated a high level of interconnectivity to other databases and platforms within the operational framework using a variety of interfaces including Web Services.
KA Technology continue to assist Nickleby & Co with the development of applications for their Emergense suite.

DeZinaForm
SMM Software Ltd invited KA Technology to tender for the redevelopment of an existing form design tool called DeZinaForm. KA Technology won the contract for the now commercially successful application.
The decision was taken to continue using Visual Basic as the development language so we could take advantage of the existing code. The final application showed that it was possible to develop a robust and commercial applications using Visual Basic.
Key Features of the application included a distinct script engine component interpreter for the Form Design Script and a user interface providing a script editor and a generated preview of the output.
All work was carried out professionally and with a good degree of knowledge of what we were looking for in the final product.

Maintenance Management System
Development of a Maintenance Management System for Nickleby & Co. This was designed from the ground up and implemented to budget and within the assigned timeframes.
